After months of booking & planning, the time has arrived. My vacation leave granted last minutes. Boss worried if nobody around since it will be extension of Deepavali holiday. I'm not a fan of any politic figures, nor politic ideas etc. As tax-paying citizen, I do however keep my eye on what happening in our country lately. Event after event happened here without much people ever realize what's the impact it might cause us, makcik, pak mat, thambi, ah seng, etc. Not going to list down cronology but enough to mention how it effect me. 1. Fuel Hike - people now preparing to face the fact that our government unable to protect us anymore. They interest on how to get oil-tax from petronas rather that care about what malaysian going to face. 2. Toll Hike - Government on care about it agreement with the shareholder (Khazanah too) rather than care about tax-paying citizen. I rather use RM40B money from subsidising petrol to buy PLUS from it share holder & make the highway free for all. Let people pay Rm2.90/litre of petrol.
