Well.. indeed not really as the title say. I just accepted job offer where I started my working era about a decade ago.. I was in Penang, now Penang again. Wow.. that's the word to describe long 4.5 years since I left the state. It's much better now than before. More development, better traffic, better view, etc. I missed those years back but of course I like it more now.. It's doesn't matter who's in power in this state, as long as it work for the 'rakyat', benefit the people, I think they are more than welcome. I shall write more later, only if my workload permitted. Till then, let's enjoy the char kuey teow & laksa penang !!!

I'm in shock early this year when I learnt that house price going up like mad. Doesn't matter where does the house project located, it just doesn't justify the price of material used. Even in remote areas are not spared. What really happened here in Malaysia? I do accept during the time where the oil price shoot-up, raw material exhausted due to China mainland bought everything and where some future investors spred news that there are shortage of raw material in this world. It does make sense during that time. But that doesn't stay for long, only 3 months (give & take). Then the oil price on a free fall, so does raw materials, foods, etc. Everybody seems to agree whereby supply were more that demand. BUT, in term of house price, it's start make a race. Giving you an example for a housing project behind our area. During first launch, a semi-D offered at RM168k. 3 months later they change the numbers to RM238k. I'm going to put it this way - straight forward. The case: I deposited a cheque with sum of RM2.5k over the counter at CIMB Jalan Hang Tuah for my daughter SSPN account using collection services slip on 16 Dec 2008. 2 days later, the cheque was cleared & according to PTPTN hotline, usually it will take up to a month to be appear in SSPN statement. Guess what?? Until today, the money is not in SSPN account. I contacted PTPTN looking for explaination. They told me, according to their system, there is no such transaction pending. I then contacted CIMB call centre to ask about this. After few long unanswered call center, managed to talk with their call rep. They also do not know what really happend. Then instructed me to go back to CIMB branch with the copy of collection slip. They said to wait until further investigation. My question is, why this thing should happen in the first place? I've been busy with my routine job administrating systems & humans. Yes, you read it right. Initially I setup, install, fine-tune & administrate all Unix systems in my workplace. As time goes, huge improvement take place & all these systems stabilize. In means of most of administration task has been automated, from data collection, analyst & report production. I would say that would be my best project I ever worked for the past 10 years. It's kind of self-satisfaction.. However, people do evolve, so do career. Climbing corporate ladder are not that difficult if you are willing to climb. I'm more than willing to climb. I would like to succeed, on my own, without sucking others ball. Well, so far, even I faced obstacles, the path are clear as crystal. Until last quarter of 08. Then all paths are now hazy.
