Halal Food in Hanoi, Sapa, Halong Bay, Vietnam

Okay, I seldom wrote on my travel a.k.a vacation on blog. However, since there is very little information I gather for halal / muslim food available for Hanoi, I decided to share some so you don't have worry about your meal while been there.
Hanoi is a little be outside of typical destination. You can find less place for halal food.
1. Hanoi Old Quarter Boutique Hotel :

Located on old quarter, offer some experience of Malaysian in 70's or early 80's.
Closest halal restaurant is Zainab Restaurant.
The restaurant may hv 2-3 table for 4 pax. So it's small time business for Muslim there.
Located just beside the An Noor mosque, you must enter the most main gate to see the small entrance of the restaurant.
An order of "nasi daging kebab" of 70k VND is enough for medium sized Malaysia eating for lunch/dinner.

2. Van Hung Sapa Hotel :
Located in Sa Pa, facing the  church of sapa town.
Not recommended for old people as you need to climb a 35° stairs of about 50 meters to get into the hotel.
The the hotel is relatively new, I personally like the hotel. Quite, nice & cheap.
For halal lunch & dinner, you have to go to Cosiana Sapa Hotel which about 7 minutes walk from this hotel.
The D'lion restaurant is inside the Cosiana hotel.
Order your self good food there as no other place can give you halal certified restaurant. Unless you are OK with vegetarian meals, then you may opt for bread/bakery, salads bar/restaurant along the lake.
Price wise is about the same as Zainab restaurant.
Portion for each menu is enough for 4 pax (L/XL) family.

3. Fansipan legend :
Fansipan Summit. No halal restaurant.
Take good breakfast or "tapau" before go to there.
You should spend time around 1-2 hours only.
Unless the view is unblocked by the cloud, only the view being on the top of the mountain takes your breath away.
Take a taxi with meter use negotiate for 80k-100k/car for return to Sapa town.
Lunch time, visit the D'Lion restaurant again for lunch, since our bus transfer will come & pickup at hotel around 2:30pm

4. Bai Tu Long/Halong Bay:
Bai Tu long use different port for departure.
Very less cruise, quite peaceful & easy for boarding your cruise.
Some of the people said, this route is much preferred, but only selected few cruises allowed to be operated here.
The lunch prepared on board. No halal food.
However, you can choose between seafood & vegetarian meals. For those with strict meal's diet, it's not advisable to have your meal on the board.
As for today, there is no 100% halal cruise available. Sad to say. Bring your own meals & beverages.
For those overnight on the cruise, you'll have dinner, breakfast & early lunch before departure. Again, only available no meat/vegetarian meals.

5. Hotel Crystal - Little India Restaurant
Around noon, get ready to back to Hanoi by coaster/bus. Another 4 hours journey, which I suggest you get some rest/sleep before reach hotel. Upon reach Hanoi, freshen-up, pray & ready for dinner. I stayed in Hotel Crystal, so the dinner is just behind the hotel, which is "Little India". The food is fantastic, price is reasonable, the hospitality is great. I strongly suggest this halal restaurant. Not your normal Indian restaurant, offered variety choice of food from India, Malaysia or Singapore. Be sure to get you place early as we seen the place easily filled with patrons looking for vegetarian, halal meal.
