How to make you money stay?
From now on, I would like to share with you tips on how to make profit from your own money. It isn't easy, but it's doable. FYI, I've been practicing this about 5-7 years and the outcome was awesome. As for now, I managed to accumulate about RM5K+ just for doing this.
Hey, I haven't tell you what is this all about, right? Let's take an example & we'll derive it from there. A good example should be this; I'm planning to go for vacation, Langkawi for instance. Ok, I'll set for Langkawi for 3D/2N with my family. Roughly I'll know where it is and can do some budgetting for that.
After a thorough consideration & planning, the budget breakdown will be as below:
1. Fuel (From Mlk - Langkawi) Return (850km X 2 X 0.20c) = RM340
2. Tolls (From Mlk - Langkawi) Return (RM80 X 2) = RM160
3. Ferry (2 Adults + 1 Children) Retiurn (RM18 X 2 X 2 + RM9 X 2 X 2) = RM108
4. Taxi (Jetty - Hotel) (RM20 X 2) = RM40
5. Hotel (2 Nights - RM150 X 2) = RM300
6. Food & Entry Expenses (Rm100 X 3) = RM300
7. Shopping = RM2000
Total = RM3248
Well, isn't much I would say provided if I didn't shopping at all or I didn't see what I've planned to buy, then probably the trip would cost me only RM1248. (Saved RM2000)
So here how much I saved from above trip apart from my budgetted expenses.
1. Fuel - by driving at constant speed of 90km/h most of the time, fuel consumption significantly reduce to about 0.13c per km. Thus, saved me about RM100.
2. Tolls - Since the trip was a leasure trip, I've decided to use federal road instead of highway. However on certain stretch, it's more economical to use highway as it distance much shorter than federal road (Ipoh-Jelapang, for example). So, saved me another RM100.
3. Food & Entry Fee Expenses - Most of the place offer quite cheap entrance fee, some even free, under water world closed during that time, the place where we eat also reasonable, easily we saved another RM50 out of RM300
However, I'm not going to go in details about above, just enough to tell you how then I managed to keep the money as savings. From 1-3 above, easily I saved RM250 from flowing out of my wallet. This RM250 has been budgetted & supposed to be considered no longer exist in my account but in reality, the way I spend it, able to save portion of it. For me, this consider a new income to me and it should be saved somewhere. Thus I created an account specially to keep money that I saved this way.
As I mentioned in the beginning, in 5-7 years, the account accumulated RM5K+. Doesn't it great? Try it
